Job Title: Operator
Hours: 1st shift 4:45am-3:15pm Mon-Thurs
Location: Ft Myers, must be able to report and work at other company locations in Ft Myers when needed.
Pay: $18.00-$19.50
Position Summary
Operate proprietary machinery and other production equipment according to production demands and work instructions. Assist technicians with machine setup, teardown, and cleaning while ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned.
- Master the operation of proprietary machinery, including flexible pouch sachet machines and form, fill, and seal rigid blister filling machines.
- Perform all operational functions of assigned machines upon completion of training.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and surrounding work areas.
- Change foils and properly dispose of waste materials as required.
- Make machine adjustments to ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout production.
- Fill and transfer bulk product for dosing operations.
- Organize and assist in training line inspectors and packagers per job specifications.
- Ensure labels, perforation placements, and day codes are accurate and consistent.
- Report high spoilage rates to leadership as designated.
- Ensure correct product counts in boxes and maintain accurate daily production logs.
- Remove skids from the production area to staging areas as needed.
- Ensure materials and information are prepared for incoming shift personnel.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in machine cleaning and teardown.
- Complete cleaning logs and ensure documentation is finalized prior to submission.
- Follow all work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure final product meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Comply with all cGMP and ISO procedures.
- Follow all company policies and attend assigned meetings.
- Must be able to travel to other company buildings or facilities as needed.
