Front Desk Sales Associate (Temporary)
Location: Construction Supply Company
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Assignment Length: Temporary through June 19
Overtime: Required

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Front Desk Sales Associate for a temporary assignment at a busy construction supply company. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service or sales experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with customers in person and over the phone.

The Front Desk Associate will support daily operations by assisting customers, processing sales transactions, coordinating orders and deliveries, and maintaining an organized showroom and front office.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional front desk support

• Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, and sales transactions

• Create and manage customer accounts

• Process invoices, sales receipts, and credit memos

• Handle cash, credit card, and check payments accurately

• Enter orders and assist with delivery scheduling and order tracking

• Help customers determine material quantities such as rock, sand, and stepping stones

• Maintain organized records and update customer information

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department

• Assist with showroom upkeep, office organization, and general administrative tasks

• Support inventory tracking and supply ordering when needed

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience strongly preferred

• Front desk or administrative experience required

• Comfortable working with customers in a construction or supply environment

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask in a busy environment

• Basic computer proficiency required

Software Experience

• QuickBooks Desktop

• Microsoft Excel

• Microsoft Outlook

This is a temporary assignment through June 19 with the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced construction supply environment.
