Job Title: Medical Assistant – Cardiology / Electrophysiology
Location: Naples, FL
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (overtime as needed)

Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals has teamed up with a growing, fast-paced cardiology practice in Naples to hire a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and able to follow clinical direction while also taking initiative in a dynamic clinical environment.
The position offers a blend of both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with full cross-training provided across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Manage patient flow to ensure efficient daily operations
- Perform ECGs, and assist with Holter and event monitor placement
- Support review and coordination of event monitor diagnostic results
- Ensure patient charts are complete with labs and diagnostic results prior to visits
- Handle electronic prescription refills
- Perform accurate administrative charting and documentation in EMR
- Manage high-volume phone lines and patient triage
- Maintain strong communication with patients, providers, and team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical assistant office setting required (cardiology experience preferred)
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required
