Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
Department: Supply Chain & Purchasing
Position Overview
The Supply Chain Coordinator supports daily supply chain operations by coordinating procurement, production scheduling, and order management activities. This role works cross-functionally with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure materials and products are delivered on time and aligned with customer and production requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement and production requirements by program
- Maintain and update sales orders, schedules, and timelines within the MRP/ERP system
- Support planning functions by providing accurate and timely data for production scheduling
- Generate and distribute forecasting and reporting data to relevant departments
- Manage customer and supplier date change requests and ensure proper system updates
- Monitor shipment schedules to ensure on-time delivery to meet customer requirements
- Track open purchase orders and ensure alignment with production timelines
- Evaluate supplier performance, including on-time delivery, and address delays or issues
- Collaborate with purchasing and quality teams to monitor and improve supplier performance
- Contribute to process improvements related to cost reduction, efficiency, and quality
Qualifications
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems required
- APICS certification or knowledge preferred
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience (3–5 years) considered

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily indoor, office-based setting with occasional exposure to manufacturing environments
- Regular sitting, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift or move light items as needed (typically up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- May involve exposure to noise, machinery, or industrial conditions when on the production floor
- Use of standard office equipment and computer systems required
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
