Position: Sales Department Coordinator
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19–25/hr based on experience
Position Type: Temporary or Temp-to-Hire
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Sales Department Coordinator for a growing manufacturing company in Fort Myers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys working cross-functionally with multiple departments, and has strong customer service and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and provide support to the sales team, customers, and suppliers
- Accurately enter and process customer purchase orders in a timely manner
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Shipping, and Sales Departments to ensure orders are completed and delivered on schedule
- Track orders through completion and proactively resolve delays or issues
- Research information through company databases, email communication, online resources, and internal departments
- Route qualified sales opportunities to the appropriate sales or account managers
- Follow up on inbound leads and assist with outbound calls and emails to generate new business opportunities
- Prepare and send customer quotations as needed
- Maintain and update customer account information within the database
- Assist with improving departmental procedures, reporting, forecasting, and communication processes
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to office staff
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative, sales support, customer service, or coordination experience preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal teams
