Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative I to support a multi-campus behavioral health setting. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients receiving outpatient psychiatry and therapy services, including individuals with mental health and substance use diagnoses.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish REQUIRED), highly organized, and committed to providing excellent customer service in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for phone and in-person patient inquiries
• Provide professional, compassionate customer service in a behavioral health setting
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support treatment plans
• Work effectively across outpatient psychiatry and therapy departments
• Ensure a positive, therapeutic experience for all patients and visitors

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Experience with dual diagnosis (mental health & substance use)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of office/clerical experience with customer interaction OR
• Associate’s degree with 6 months of work experience
• Ability to learn and maintain competency in electronic health record systems
• Must pass pre-employment screening (drug test & TB)
• Must clear Level 2 background screening (DCF & AHCA)
• Completion of 1-week orientation required
