Technical Support Specialist
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers while working closely with Sales, Engineering, and other internal teams.
Position: Technical Support Specialist
Pay: $18/hr
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Provide technical support by phone, email, and other communication methods
- Work with Sales and Engineering teams to identify and resolve customer issues
- Document issues, resolutions, and customer interactions in the CRM system
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved
- Assist with customer training and provide guidance on best practices
- Create and maintain technical support resources and training materials
- Provide technical support to internal departments as needed
Qualifications
- Previous technical or hands-on experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- 3–7 years of experience with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of electrical diagrams and mechanical/plumbing systems preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and resolution skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to think quickly and find effective solutions
