Warehouse / Logistics Associate

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Warehouse / Logistics Associate for a manufacturing company located in Bonita Springs, FL.
This is a hands-on, floor-based role responsible for receiving, storage, shipping, material handling, packaging finished products, and coordinating carriers. The ideal candidate will have warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Physically receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, count quantities, and verify against packing slips and purchase orders
- Move received goods to inspection, stock, or point-of-use locations
- Route packing slips and receiving documentation to the front office
- Flag discrepancies, shortages, or damage immediately
- Pack and prepare finished goods for shipment
- Generate shipping labels and documentation through UPS, FedEx, and other carriers
- Operate forklift and pallet jack safely
- Operate and maintain the facility floor scrubber on a set schedule
- Keep production aisles, common areas, and shipping/receiving areas clean and organized
- Break down and dispose of incoming packaging
- Manage dumpster, recycling, and outbound waste flow
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/material handling environment
- Support inventory cycle counts and move materials between locations as needed
- Follow quality procedures for material handling, traceability, and lot control
- Comply with all safety and company procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience
- Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for the full shift
- Basic computer skills for shipping software and inventory transactions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with counting and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, medical device, or another regulated environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, and shipping documentation
