Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Customer Service Specialist for a company in Estero, FL. This temporary/contract role serves as the liaison between the company and its clients and consumers, helping address food safety questions, concerns, and requests.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $25 per hour
Position Type: Temporary/Contract
Responsibilities:

Respond professionally to client and consumer inquiries by phone and email.

Document food safety concerns, complaints, and requests accurately.

Coordinate with internal teams to address concerns and provide timely updates.

Maintain databases, track corrective actions, and prepare reports.

Complete customer questionnaires and upload documentation to customer portals.

Keep food safety audit records and vendor files organized and current.

Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and a professional phone manner.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and follow through.

Experience handling customer inquiries or complaints preferred.

Food industry or food safety experience is a plus.
