Temporary Dispatcher – High Call Volume
Hourly Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Ocala, FL
Duration: 2 to 6 weeks (with potential extension - Starting on 7/30 )
Are you a calm, capable multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Temporary Dispatcher to support our team during a transitional period. This role is ideal for someone with experience handling high call volumes and a passion for customer service.
You’ll play a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly by answering phones, scheduling service calls, and easing the workload for our current staff until our new full-time dispatcher is fully onboarded.
What You’ll Do:
- Answer incoming calls and schedule service appointments
- Dispatch service technicians and create work orders
- Order parts from vendors and manufacturers
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and resolve service-related issues
- Manage a high-volume workflow with efficiency and accuracy
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay composed under pressure
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with dispatching software, Microsoft Office, and email
- Keen attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
