Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Ocala, Florida (Local Travel Required)
Salary: Base $40,000 + Commission (expected comp $60,000 - $100,000)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
Our Company is seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through strategic prospecting and relationship-building. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with cold calling, which accounts for 90% of business development efforts. We are a B2B and B2C company that sells an essential service with an established brand and reputation in our area.

Position Overview:
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, presenting tailored waste and recycling solutions, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a passion for delivering value to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

  • Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs.
  • Develop and present customized service solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Serve as the primary contact throughout the sales process.
  • Educate customers on service offerings and benefits.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve services.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Coordinate with operations, customer service, and management teams.
  • Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in waste, recycling, construction, or environmental services.
  • Strong understanding of hauling services, CDL operations, landfill usage, and recycling programs.
  • Experience leading sales teams in a performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary of $40,000 plus commission.
  • Medical Insurance: 100% premium paid for employees / 70% for dependents.
  • Dental Insurance: 100% premium paid for employees / 70% for dependents.
  • Vision Insurance: 100% premium paid for entire family.
