Job Full Description
Pay: $30-$40 – Plus Monthly & Annual Safety Bonuses
Shift: Monday–Friday | Some Saturdays | Full-Time
Location: Ocala, FL
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
2+ years of diesel mechanic experience
-
ASE Certification (Required)
-
CDL Class A or B (Required – or willingness to obtain upon hire)
-
Must provide own tools
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments (noise, weather, dirt)
-
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and physical
-
Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, additional ASE certifications, fleet maintenance software experience
Description:
-
Perform preventative maintenance and repair on diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment
-
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, brake, air, and suspension systems
-
Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
-
Respond to emergency breakdowns as needed
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant workspace
-
Accurately document maintenance and repairs in fleet software
-
Review and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
-
Assist senior mechanics with complex projects
-
Estimate repair times and order necessary parts
