Job Full Description
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Ready Mix Batch Plant Operator to oversee daily batching operations in a concrete production environment. This role involves operating computer batching systems, monitoring material quality, managing plant inventories, and coordinating with dispatch and drivers to ensure accurate and efficient concrete production.
Schedule:
Hours vary daily depending on job scheduling — flexibility required.
Pay Rate:
$27/hr BOE
Key Responsibilities:

Produce concrete products to required specifications
-
Verify each load for yardage, mix accuracy, admixtures, and quality standards
-
Safely and efficiently operate batching and plant equipment
-
Receive, inspect, and manage raw materials
-
Keep accurate production records and logs
-
Communicate effectively with dispatch, drivers, and plant management
-
Oversee cleaning and maintenance of the central mix plant
-
Monitor inventory levels (cement, fly ash, admixtures, etc.)
-
Perform moderately complex math calculations as needed
-
Utilize batching software and computer systems with proficiency
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in ready-mix batching or plant operations
-
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
-
Skilled with computer-based batching systems

Ability to perform math calculations related to batching
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Physically capable of working in an outdoor, industrial environment
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
