Temporary Customer Support Specialist
Position Type: Temporary (through end of year, potential extension)
Location: In-office at HQ (Ocala, FL)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Are you a great communicator who enjoys helping others? We’re looking for a Consumer Affairs Representative to join our team on a temporary basis and be the friendly, professional voice behind our 800-number support line.
This role is all about connecting with consumers—answering questions, resolving concerns, and documenting feedback. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
- Answer incoming calls from consumers regarding product questions or complaints
- Provide clear, courteous support and collect relevant information
- Maintain accurate records and logs of inquiries and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and escalate issues when needed
What You Bring:
- Basic office skills and computer proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Experience in customer service or call center environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus
- Organized and reliable with a focus on issue resolution
Additional Details:
- Must be available to start as soon as possible
- In-person interview required by hiring manager
- Must pass a drug test and background check prior to starting
