Delivery Driver

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. The Driver is responsible for transporting goods to and from designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and products to assigned destinations

• Load and unload materials while ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo

• Inspect vehicle before and after each trip; report maintenance or safety issues promptly

• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation

• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers

• Provide courteous and professional customer service at all delivery locations

• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies

• Assist with general warehouse or yard duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more, as required)

• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving

• Frequent lifting, bending, walking, and loading/unloading materials

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Work Environment:

• Combination of driving, warehouse, and customer-site environments

• Fast-paced setting requiring flexibility and reliability
