Job Title: Accounting Clerk
- Location: Ocala, FL
- Pay Rate: $20–$22+ per hour (Based on Experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations for a growing organization in Ocala. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional looking for long-term growth and expanded responsibilities. Training will be provided on internal systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter financial transactions in a timely manner

Support and manage intercompany systems and processes

Prepare and process intercompany billing

Perform account reconciliations, including credit card reconciliations

Assist with entry-level Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

Maintain organized filing systems, including scanning and document management

Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial records

Learn and operate internal accounting systems (currently using Titan)

Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
-
Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Experience with QuickBooks

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to learn new software and systems quickly (Titan experience a plus but not required)

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
