Receptionist / Secretary – Homosassa, FL
We are currently seeking a dependable and organized Receptionist / Secretary to join our team in Homosassa. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:15 PM
Pay: $17–$18/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
As the Receptionist / Secretary, you will manage front desk operations and provide administrative support to the office. You will play a key role in creating a professional and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain organized filing systems (both physical and digital)
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Provide administrative support to office staff
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or clerical role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with office equipment (copiers, printers, phone systems)
- Basic bookkeeping or data entry experience
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
