Job Full Description
TIG Welder – Aluminum
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented TIG Welder to support the manufacturing of large-scale products and components. The ideal candidate will have strong aluminum TIG welding experience, the ability to read blueprints and shop orders, and a commitment to producing high-quality welds to exact specifications.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay
- Starting $20.00-$22.00 per hour
- Based on experience and weld test results
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum components and assemblies
- Read and work from shop orders, blueprints, specifications, and written instructions
- Cut, prepare, and position materials according to required dimensions and tolerances
- Set parts in assembly fixtures and clamp in place to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Select proper welding parameters according to specified weld procedures
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of completed welds
- Document completed work and quality checks as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with additional production or fabrication duties as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications
Required
- TIG welding experience on aluminum
- Ability to read blueprints, prints, and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred
- Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience
- Experience working with large assemblies or custom products
- Knowledge of welding measurements, tolerances, and fabrication tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, move, and position materials as needed
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and welding environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment
- Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment while wearing proper PPE
