Position Summary
A growing manufacturing company in Ocala, FL is seeking a dependable and hardworking Powder Coater / Welder to join their team. This position is responsible for performing powder coating, MIG welding, fabrication, and general production duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform powder coating on steel and aluminum products
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, masking, and cleaning materials
- Perform MIG welding and basic fabrication duties
- Read blueprints, work orders, and tape measurements accurately
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate powder coating equipment, welders, grinders, and hand tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
- Assist with general manufacturing and production duties as needed
Requirements
- 1+ years of powder coating and/or welding experience preferred
- MIG welding experience required
- Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Forklift experience is a plus
