Upholstery Technician
Pay: $19.00–$21.00
Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm; Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Covering Operator to apply fabric and other covering materials to acoustic panels and finished products. This is a hands-on manufacturing position focused on quality, precision, and finished appearance.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, position, stretch, and secure fabric to acoustic panels
- Ensure proper alignment, tension, corners, edges, and overall appearance
- Inspect materials for defects or damage
- Use basic hand and cutting tools, adhesives, and production equipment
- Inspect finished products and correct quality issues when possible
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting quality standards
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions
- Ability to recognize quality issues and defects
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
