Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Production Assistant to support plant operations and material movement. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth production flow by managing the yard, assisting with scheduling, and overseeing material and equipment usage under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure safety compliance and address any hazards or equipment issues

Support production goals by coordinating workflow and material movement

Oversee operations in areas such as stacking, kilns, and forklifts

Train and supervise team members, promoting quality and efficiency

Maintain yard layout, cleanliness, and general organization

Assist with inventory counts and basic computer-based tasks
Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong communication and leadership skills

Comfortable supervising and training team members

Respectful and effective when working with diverse teams

Proficient in forklift operation and basic computer programs (Windows, email, word processing)

Accountable, self-motivated, and committed to quality and safety
