Job Title: CNC Programmer/Machinist
Location: Palm City, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CNC Programmer to join our fast-paced machine shop located in Palm City, FL. This hands-on position involves the operation, maintenance, and repair of both CNC and manual machinery. The ideal candidate will be skilled in interpreting technical drawings, operating a variety of machines, and supporting general manufacturing processes with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Machining & Machine Operation

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (primarily HAAS TM-3P)

  • Operate manual machines including:

    • Lathes

    • Milling machines

    • Surface grinders (ID and OD)

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and ensure proper function

  • Maintain CNC tooling—keeping it organized, clean, and fully operational

  • Program CNC machines using conversational input or by loading CAM programs

  • Verify tool settings, speeds, and feeds before running programs

  • Create CAM programs from 3D models using SolidWorks and HSMWorks

Technical Support & Assembly

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

  • Assemble and repair machine parts and internal shop machinery

  • Research materials, tools, or processes as needed for projects

  • Support operation of auxiliary machinery, including:

    • Injection molding machines

    • Forklifts 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in general machining, with demonstrated CNC experience

  • Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and procedures

  • Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, ID/OD gauges

  • Familiarity with hardness testers and other specialized equipment is a plus

  • Experience programming CNC machines and interpreting CAM programs

  • Adheres to safety standards and shop protocols at all times

Computer Proficiency:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with SolidWorks and MasterCam or HSMWorks preferred
