Job Title: Junior CEI Inspector
Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Salary Range: $45,000 – $65,000 annually (Based on Experience and Certifications)
Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an entry-level Junior CEI Inspector to support a well-established engineering and inspection team. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in civil construction, inspection, and infrastructure projects. Under the guidance of senior inspectors and engineers, the Junior CEI Inspector will assist in ensuring contractor compliance, tracking progress, and contributing to quality assurance efforts across various roadway, drainage, and utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform field inspections for roadway, utility, and drainage construction

Track contractor progress and document work quantities
-
Assist in verifying compliance with specifications and construction documents

Support material sampling and testing under supervision

Prepare accurate daily reports and maintain organized field notes

Communicate observations and issues clearly to senior inspectors or engineers

Learn and apply FDOT and local agency standards and procedures
Qualifications:
-
0–4 years of experience in construction, civil inspection, or a related field

Some CTQP or MOT certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Basic understanding of construction plans and drawings

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and eagerness to learn

Ability to work outdoors in varying field conditions

Reliable transportation and punctuality required
