Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and proactive Administrative Assistant for a client located in Vero Beach. This position is ideal for someone with construction office experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values organization, and brings a professional and detail-oriented approach to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure administrative efficiency
- Handle vendor invoicing and ensure timely, accurate payments
- Create and send client invoices; monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records using Sage100
- Support payroll processing and employee onboarding
- Manage physical and digital filing systems for easy document access
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage front desk communications with professionalism
- Support project and operations teams with documentation and coordination
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a construction office (Required)
- Proficiency with Sage100 for bookkeeping and invoicing (Required)
- Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
