Job Summary
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery, systems, and facilities. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and problem-solving ability to ensure reliable production and safe operations.
Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in facility and machinery design reviews.

Read and interpret 2D drawings and technical documents.

Build, install, and maintain electrical controls for production equipment and facilities.

Learn machine interfaces and effectively train operators on their use.

Assemble machinery, fit tooling, and perform necessary alignments and adjustments.

Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Repair, install, and maintain production machinery and facility systems.
Required Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience
-
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Industrial Electrical License required.

Experience working in hazardous or explosive environments preferred.

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, electrical troubleshooting, shop math, and parts nomenclature.

Skilled in multiple disciplines including electrical (up to 480V 3-phase), hydraulics, welding, plumbing, carpentry, millwright work, and HVAC.

Experience with steam coil generator maintenance.

Familiarity with troubleshooting or programming Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs a plus.
