Temp to Hire position in the Tucker/Stone Mountain area.
This role is responsible for receiving goods, cleaning equipment and workspaces according to protocols, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude. This position requires flexibility, the ability to work overtime when needed, and comfort using basic computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Duties:
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
• Accurately record and document receipt of materials in inventory systems.
• Communicate discrepancies or damages to the appropriate department.
Cleaning Duties:
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of equipment, tools, and workspaces.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage and processing areas.
Quality Control Duties:
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for defects, damage, or non-compliance.
• Document quality findings accurately and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Participate in process improvement efforts to maintain high-quality standards
Requirements:
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in performing inspections, cleaning, and documentation.
• Self-Starter: Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
• Flexible Availability: Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Physical Strength: Able to lift to 40lbs., stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• PPE Knowledge: Familiar with personal protective equipment and its proper use in cleaning and safety protocols.
• Computer Literacy: Comfortable using computers for data entry, inventory, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or sanitation environment.
• Basic understanding of inventory systems and quality control procedures.
Hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
