Salary: $50K-55K Depending on experience.
Express Employment Professionals Atlanta NE location is seeking an experienced Accountant in the Doraville area to lead an accounting department and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting. Hospitality experience is a plus.
This is a temp to hire hybrid role and requires a proactive leader who can mentor junior staff and drive improvements in our accounting processes.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
- Manage the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, PeopleSoft, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial concepts and trends in the accounting field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Extensive experience in corporate accounting
- NetSuite and QuickBooks experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and various financial software applications.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles, debits & credits, accrual accounting, and bank reconcillations.
- Demonstrated ability in financial report writing and interpretation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate account analysis.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
