Pool Repair Technician
Growing Pool Company needs an experienced Pool Repair Technician. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience as a Pool Repair Technician.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, filters (cartridge, DE, sand), heaters (gas and heat pump), salt chlorine generators, and automation systems
- Replace pump seals, motors, valves, plumbing, and electrical components
- Troubleshoot equipment issues end-to-end-hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing
- Perform start-ups, equipment installs, and seasonal service
- Service and program automation controls (Pentair IntelliCenter/EasyTouch, Jandy iAquaLink, Hayward OmniLogic)
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients in person and in writing through our service app
- Keep your truck stocked, organized, and presentable
Requirements
- 2+ years hands-on pool repair experience
- Working knowledge of pool hydraulics, electrical (low-voltage and 240V equipment), and plumbing (PVC)
- Comfort diagnosing automation systems from at least one major brand (Pentair, Jandy, or Hayward)
- Valid Georgia driver's license, clean MVR, ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Able to lift 75 lbs, work outdoors year-round, and handle pool chemicals safely
- Smartphone-literate — we run on Pool Brain and you'll be expected to document jobs, photos, and parts in real time
- Dependable, on-time, and presentable — our clients have standards, and so do we
Preferred but Not Required
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification — we'll pay for it if you don't have it
- Manufacturer certifications (Pentair, Jandy, Hayward, Raypak, Hayward Stealth)
- Gas line experience for heater installs
- Prior experience servicing high-end residential or commercial pools
- Spa and water feature troubleshooting
