Express Employment Professionals, Atlanta NE location is hiring a Fleet Maintenance & Roadside Dispatch Coordinator for a transportation client.
This role supports commercial drivers experiencing breakdowns and vehicle issues, this is not a general customer service or standard dispatch position.
What You’ll Do:
- Take calls from drivers with roadside breakdowns and mechanical issues
- Gather details and help with basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate towing, roadside assistance, mobile repair, and vendors
- Schedule repairs and preventive maintenance
- Track repair status and keep drivers updated
- Document service calls and maintenance activity
- Handle multiple urgent requests in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Experience in trucking, fleet maintenance, roadside assistance, or transportation dispatch
- Background handling breakdowns or vehicle repair coordination strongly preferred
- Basic understanding of vehicle/mechanical terms
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm in urgent situations
- Good computer and data entry skills
Background & Drug test
Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) when needed.
