Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8AM-4:30 PM
Mon-Fri 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
Express Employment Professionals – Atlanta NE is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented EVS Housekeeper to support the Emergency Department. This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, families, and hospital staff.
Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect patient treatment rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, nursing stations, and other assigned spaces.

Respond promptly to room-cleaning requests to support patient flow.

Wipe and disinfect frequently touched surfaces using approved products and procedures.

Remove trash and handle waste according to hospital guidelines.

Sweep and mop floors, replenish supplies, and replace linens as assigned.

Follow infection prevention procedures, chemical safety guidelines, and personal protective equipment requirements.

Communicate cleaning needs, supply shortages, and safety concerns to the supervisor.

Provide courteous service while respecting patient privacy.
Qualifications
-
At least one year of experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Previous hospital housekeeping or EVS experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and reliable attendance.

Ability to follow cleaning instructions and work around patients, families, and medical staff.

Comfortable working in a busy Emergency Department, including around bodily fluids and potentially infectious materials while following required safety procedures.

Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including extended standing, walking, bending, and pushing cleaning equipment.
