Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing agency company dedicated to helping local businesses find local people. Our client located in Caldwell, ID is seeking a Flooring Laborer to join their team!
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Schedule: Variable
Job Summary:
Deliver materials, prep residential flooring for carpet installation by demo'ing previous flooring and staging materials, prep for flooring installation using sanders
Responsibilities:
• Tear-out and removal of floor covering
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner to deliver materials to job sites
• Operate manual vehicles and box trucks equipped with lift gates
• Install or set doors
• Install baseboard trim
Qualifications:
• Basic mechanical aptitude: able to safely use hand and power tools including floor sanders
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned task list with minimal oversight
• Ability to understand, perform and retain various skill-related training.
• Ability to understand, perform and retain operation and safety procedures demonstrated by supervisors
• Experience with finish carpentry and door hanging
Physical Abilities:
• To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to:
• Frequently lift and/or move to 50 pounds; talk and hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; stand; walk; kneel, crouch or crawl
