Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing firm dedicated to helping local businesses find local people. One of our outstanding clients in Nampa is seeking to fill a full time temporary position for their Maintenance Department. Duties include reviewing WOs, schedule PMs and WOs per downtime and line schedule, research parts as needed for a job, retrieve parts from the storeroom and distribute as needed, kit jobs and un-kit jobs, order parts as needed through the CMMS.
Schedule:
Tuesday to Friday
7:00a-5:00pm
Pay: $29/hour
Skills/Experience required
A candidate should have, entry-level mechanical or industrial maintenance exposure. The daily duties are highly administrative:
- Comfort using computer systems (CMMS, inventory systems, Microsoft tools)
- Some understanding of planning, scheduling, and material flow in maintenance
- Basic understanding of maintenance terminology (mechanical, electrical, PM vs corrective work)
- Some experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Familiarity with work orders and equipment breakdowns, even at an operator or apprentice level
- Introductory knowledge of parts, components, and tooling
- Willingness to learn technical documentation, manuals, and parts catalog
