Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing firm dedicated to helping local businesses find local people. One of our outstanding clients in Nampa is looking for a Material Handler to join their team.
Pay: $18
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am -4pm
Position Summary
The Warehouse Materials Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials within the warehouse to support efficient operations. This role ensures materials are handled safely, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or shipping documents
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production, internal use, or outbound shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
- Package and label materials for shipment in accordance with company and carrier requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Preferred
- Previous warehouse or materials handling experience
- Forklift or powered industrial truck certification
- Experience using inventory tracking systems
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, or manufacturing environments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Operation of warehouse equipment and tools
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and warehouse conditions

- Inventory records remain accurate and up to date
- Safety incidents are minimized through consistent adherence to procedures
- The warehouse remains organized and efficient
