Pay: 80K Plus Bonuses
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, fully onsite position
- Schedule aligned with plant production needs
- Extended hours, early starts, weekends, and overtime may be required
- Dependability and punctuality are essential
Position Summary
Supports the Production Manager in overseeing daily plant operations within a high-volume manufactured housing environment. This role assists in coordinating production activities, supporting department leadership, and ensuring alignment with company expectations related to safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance. The Assistant Production Manager works closely with Foremen, Supervisors, Quality Control, Maintenance, Safety, Materials, and Human Resources to maintain efficient, compliant, and consistent operations across departments. This position serves as a member of plant leadership and is expected to model company values, policies, and expectations at all times.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The following duties are representative of the position and are not all-inclusive:
- Support the Production Manager in daily production planning and execution
- Assist in monitoring production schedules, staffing levels, and workflow across departments
- Support department leadership in meeting production goals and operational targets
- Help coordinate workflow between Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Safety, and Materials
- Assist with resolving production delays, staffing issues, and operational challenges
- Monitor production performance, output, efficiency and communicate updates to leadership
- Support enforcement of company policies related to safety, attendance, conduct, and performance
- Assist with coaching, direction, and support of Foremen and Supervisors
- Help ensure consistent application of company expectations across departments
- Support documentation of production issues, incidents, and operational concerns
- Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and leadership support as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational adjustments
- Maintain professionalism and accountability as a member of plant leadership
- Utilize production tracking tools, reporting systems, and operational documentation

Required Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or construction environment
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory support experience

- Ability to support production operations and leadership teams
- Ability to work extended hours and overtime as production demands require
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufactured housing or large-scale production
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience coordinating production workflow
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Standing and walking throughout production areas
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and climbing
- Exposure to machinery, dust, and varying temperatures
- Required use of PPE including safety glasses and hearing protection
