Job Full Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to transport industrial pipe, valves, and related materials to customer locations. This position also assists with warehouse operations when not making deliveries. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $20+ DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver pipe, valves, and fittings to customer job sites and facilities
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Maintain delivery logs and required documentation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist with warehouse duties including picking, packing, and organizing inventory when needed
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations (if applicable)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle type)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred (industrial or construction materials a plus)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle heavy materials such as pipe and fittings
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
Work Environment:
- Combination of driving and warehouse environment
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and industrial settings
- Frequent lifting, bending, and physical activity
