Install Assistant – Flooring Industry
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a dependable Install Assistant for a local flooring installation company serving the Treasure Valley area.
This is the perfect summer job with long-term opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction and flooring industry.
Pay: $18.00/hour
Job Duties Include:
- Assisting with carpet installation
- Assisting with tile installation
- Flooring removal and prep work
- Concrete grinding and surface preparation
- Loading/unloading materials
- General labor and job site cleanup
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Most projects start at 7:00 AM
- Some projects may require different start times or schedules depending on the job site
Tools & Equipment Used:
- Knee kickers
- Tile cutters
- Grinders
- Hand tools and power tools
- Floor scrapers
- Measuring tools
- Vacuums and cleanup equipment
PPE Provided:
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- Dust masks/respirators
- Gloves
Qualified Candidates Will:
- Have reliable transportation
- Be dependable and punctual
- Be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Be willing to learn flooring installation techniques
- Construction or flooring experience is preferred, but not required
