Janitorial / Animal Care Assistant (No Animal Handling)
Location: Caldwell, ID
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay: $17.00 per hour
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Janitorial / Animal Care Assistant. This position focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary environment for our facility.
Important: This role does not involve handling or working directly with animals.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize empty dog and cat kennels
- Wash and fold laundry
- Wash dishes and other cleaning equipment
- Mop hallways and common areas
- Clean and disinfect restrooms
- Empty trash and maintain overall cleanliness of the facility
- Perform other general housekeeping duties as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and stay on task
- Comfortable performing physical cleaning duties
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds and be on your feet for most of the shift
- Janitorial or housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required
