FABRICATOR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads job specification process sheets to determine the procedure required at assigned work station(s).
- Operates machinery and observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
- Quality Control Inspection of product
- Assists machine operators to set up machine, stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to do highly repetitive physical work, paying attention to detail.
- Experience reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers is preferred.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED or three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing during 10 hour shift
Regularly lift up to 40 pounds
Regularly working with sharp objects and chemicals
