Job Full Description
Mechanical Assembler – $18.50/hr
A local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join their team! This is a fast-paced, high-energy environment ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality products.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly using drawings
- Assemble components and products, including light mechanical assembly and basic soldering tasks
- Use small hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque wrenches, tweezers, wire strippers, drills, and cutters
- Press, polish, and grind components as needed
- Identify electronic and mechanical components to ensure proper material handling
Qualifications:
- Basic assembly experience and strong hand/eye coordination required
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
