A Manufacturing Company In Aurora Is Seeking SHEET LINE OPERATORS!!!

EVALUATION TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY PLUS BENEFITS ONCE HIRED

**Bi-Lingual Is a Plus**

 

1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM - Monday to Friday ($17.00 per hour)

OR

2nd Shift - 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM - Monday to Friday ($19.00 per hour)

Rotating Schedule Every Other Weekend – [Week 1: 48 hours] [Week 2: 36 hours]

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Sheet Line Operator plays a pivotal role in operating high-throughput plastic sheet extrusion lines. With a

commitment to safety and quality, the ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector.

This role demands strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and dedication to workplace safety and quality.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES / COMPENTENCIES

· Proficiency in using digital calipers and tape measures.

· Capability to read and adjust pressure gauges for optimal machine performance.

· Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

· Successful completion of a color blindness test is mandatory.

 

MENTAL / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Mobility: Frequent standing, stooping, kneeling, and bending are required.

· Lifting Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.

· Footwear: Must own steel-toed boots for safety compliance.

· Temperature Tolerance: Must be able to work in high-heat conditions.

 

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Equipment Operation: Expertly set up and operate plastic sheet forming lines to maximize productivity and

safety.

· Quality Control: Routinely check and maintain product quality to meet or exceed company and customer

specifications.

· Machine Adjustments: Skillfully adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure, temperature, and

material flow to optimize product quality.

· Data Management: Accurately record and maintain production data for performance metrics and quality

assurance.

· Production Adaptability: Safely and efficiently perform color and size changes in accordance with production

schedules.

· Product Handling: Trim, stack, and package finished products in preparation for shipment.

· Preventative Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of

equipment. Utilize mobile safety steps to clean rollers.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols while working around hot, moving equipment.

· Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and take initiatives for continuous improvement.

· Reporting: Promptly document and report any safety incidents or quality issues to the supervisor.
