EVALUATION TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 3:00pm to 12:00am
Pay Rate: $30.00 and $35.00 per hour based off experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must poses sense of urgency when dealing with all aspects of the position. Proven experience as maintenance technician in an industrial environment. Experience in executing maintenance operations. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment. Ability to keep track of and report on activity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/Ba in business administration.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing problems and completing projects on a variety of industrial systems on the second shift of the manufacturing facility. Supporting the manufacturing teams to ensure the equipment is operating correctly, working alongside contractors on larger projects. Drawing on experience to offer solutions to a variety of problems related to mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing & building issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executing maintenance procedures and ensuring tasks are completed in an appropriate amount of time.
- Resolving issues identified during the inspections of the facilities.
- Working on electrical systems within the building. Must be able to perform troubleshooting tasks using a multi-meter, able to troubleshoot 480 VAC to 24 VDC and check current.
- Must be able to troubleshoot AC & DC motors for proper operation. Ability to rebuild motors would be beneficial.
- Working on hydraulic systems within the building, including proficiency with all types of pumps - operation and rebuilding.
- Maintenance Tech has experience and/or training in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations.
- Execute plans related to repair and installation activities.
- Input data related to equipment and supplies in order to avoid inventory shortfalls.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Agility to climb ladders or under workspaces. Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
