Shipping Clerk – $16.75/hr
Location: Paris, IL
Express Employment Professionals of Paris is partnering with a growing company in search of a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where organization and teamwork matter, this could be your next great opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Operate power trucks, hand lifts, high lifts, or order pickers to move materials safely between departments

Assemble customer orders, prepare items for shipment, and verify packing lists and bills of lading

Receive and unpack incoming materials, report damages or discrepancies
-
Maintain inventory tracking and ensure everything is stored in the right place
-
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Assist with other warehouse duties like breaking down cartons, folding instructions, and pulling hardware

Complete shipping and receiving reports using a computer

Step in to support the department when the supervisor is unavailable
What We’re Looking For:

Ability to read and follow written instructions

Basic computer skills

Strong communication and teamwork
-
Dependable with excellent attendance
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Must be 18+ and comfortable wearing required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and ear protection)

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Some Saturdays: 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM
