Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of industrial equipment and structures. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
- Mix and match paint colors to specifications
- Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to standards
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean work area
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial painting preferred
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
