HR Generalist
Location: Jacksonville, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $19-$20/hour dependent on experience
A family-owned, well-established company in Jacksonville, IL is seeking an HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating across departments in a professional, positive work environment.
Responsibilities:

Support talent acquisition and employee onboarding

Manage employee relations and address workplace concerns professionally

Administer timekeeping, attendance, and leave programs (FMLA, PTO)

Assist with benefits administration and payroll coordination

Maintain HR systems and employee records

Support employee training and organizational development initiatives

Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws

Participate in safety management and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:

Experience with timekeeping, attendance, and leave management

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
