Job Full Description
Our client located in Carpentersville, IL is looking for a 1st Shift Production Machine Operator to join their team! In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
Pay: 17-18/hr
In this position, you will:
- Set up production equipment and prepare necessary supplies before running job orders
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently during production processing
- Operate machinery including loading coils, removing scrap and paper waste, and unloading finished coils
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify needed repairs, replacements, or potential malfunctions
- Follow all company safety procedures and equipment-operation policies
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Previous experience as a machine operator, forklift/warehouse associate, or production worker
- CNC, furnace, or overhead crane experience is a PLUS
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
