Accounts Receivable Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the North Kane County area to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who excels in billing, collections, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections activities
Apply customer payments via ACH, wire, credit card, and check
Issue monthly statements and resolve billing discrepancies
Communicate with customers regarding account status and payments
Review customer credit history and recommend credit terms
Approve orders based on credit limits and payment history
Maintain accurate collection and reporting records
Prepare and file sales tax returns
Assist with audits and accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience
Strong Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy

Pay & Schedule

Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Work Location: Onsite
