Production Technician– 2nd Shift
Elgin, IL
Pay Rate: $20.00
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Thursday/ potential OT 5:00am to 3:00 while training
Employment Type: Full-Time | Evaluation Hire
Summary
Join an international manufacturing company that specializes in chemical foaming agents (CFAs) used in the plastics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and calibrating machines
- Loading up to 10 bags per hour
- Monitoring operations to ensure smooth production
- Cleaning machines for color changeovers and submitting samples to the quality control department
- Gathering materials as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Operate and monitor machinery (mixing, extrusion, blending, etc.)
- Handle raw materials like powders or additives
