Job Title: Material Distributor
City and State: Carpentersville, IL
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Employment Type: Evaluation to Hire
Summary:
Support fabrication and production operations by ensuring materials and components are delivered, organized, and maintained efficiently to keep production running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and deliver correct component parts to work areas using pick tickets and prepare for order changeovers
- Load and unload blades, rings, and materials at stacking stations and transfer parts between operations
- Consolidate parts and return leftover components to the stockroom after each order
- Keep machines supplied with empty tubs, provide scrap tubs, and maintain empty scrap bins
- Perform additional duties on and off the production line as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt to production needs
