Summary:
Support peak production by operating light machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on training with potential for long-term employment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned equipment safely while meeting hourly production goals
- Monitor machine performance and perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Run machines based on shop orders and drawings, including piercing, bending, and forming
- Identify defects, equipment issues, and communicate concerns to setup or supervision
- Follow all safety procedures and assist with material handling as needed
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; training provided
- Ability to work mandatory overtime during peak production periods
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation
- Comfortable using measuring tools and gauges for inspections
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
