Job Title: Order Picker
City and State: Elgin, IL
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Employment Type: Evaluation to Hire
Summary:
The Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and preparing products for shipment while supporting the efficient flow of inventory throughout the warehouse. This position plays a key role in meeting customer order requirements and maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse systems.
- Receive, stage, and move products within the warehouse as needed.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as assigned.
- Follow all safety guidelines and keep work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when fulfilling orders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse technology is a plus.
